gPorch Light
Some of the best conversations seem to happen on a porch, late on a summer evening. Between family, between friends, between strangers, even. There's something about the chorus of crickets, deep, purple sky, and the smell of wet dirt that strips away the day – and all the roles and expectations we carry during it. Under the porch light, surrounded by fluttering moths, it's easier to say something that's a little strange, but very real.
My newsletter, Porch Light, is meant to evoke a similar feeling – a moment that invites you to slow down and think differently, like a late-evening conversation with a friend. I'll be sharing thoughts on writing, life, and a glimpse of my own "porch light" moments – and, of course, updates on my manuscript.
Come and sit a spell with me – I’ll leave the porch light on for you.
